Hotel Galeón
Overlooking the San Miguel Bay in Ibiza, Hotel Galeón is just 656 feet from the beach. This hotel offers 2 outdoor swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, and a terrace. Free WiFi is provided. Each air-conditioned room at this hotel has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, desk and a balcony with views of the bay. The private bathroom comes with a bath, free toiletries, and hairdryer. A safe is available for an extra charge. The on-site restaurant is buffet-style and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a bar and lounge, with impressive sea views. The Hotel Galeón also offers a miniclub and playground for children, 24-hour front desk, luggage store, and a shared terrace with sun loungers. Ibiza Airport is 18 mi from the hotel, and San Antonio, with ferry services to Valencia and Denia, is a 30-minute drive away.

If you want to experience really friendly service again!
Quiet location in the north of Ibiza.
Unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the friendly hotel staff.

Es tut uns leid, dass Sie die Zimmer als etwas in die Jahre gekommen empfunden haben. Wir nehmen Ihr Feedback ernst und werden es bei zukünftigen Verbesserungen berücksichtigen. Great hotel for a few chill rest days in Ibiza
+ The view of the bay from the lobby is beautiful
+ Room was basic but fine.
- Pool not being able to use, was always full. So we went to the nearby beach.
- If you don't have a rental car, it's a lot of mountain walking. With suitcases very heavy. When we took a car, there was hardly ever parking space at the hotel.
+- Don't expect too much from San Miguel in general. The beach is great but we didn't find a good restaurant and so had to rent a car to go out. If you have a rental car San Miguel is a quiet base to sleep without too many party people.

Deplorable hotel with no hygiene
The rooms present a total lack of hygiene and comfort.
The sanitary equipment was in a deplorable state, with signs of wear and obvious neglect and the presence of insects (cockroaches, woodlice, etc.) in the common areas and in the private areas. The beds are hard, the pillows as flat as a sheet, and I'm not talking about the air conditioning which dates from 1950.
The common areas are absolutely repulsive, the carpets are stained and very dirty (stains of vomit, blood and so on). I strongly advise against walking around the floors, each as dirty as the next, and I'm not even talking about the 1st floor (probably intended for the hotel staff) which looks like a drug addict's squat (bed on the floor, peanuts and cigarette butts on the ground).
WHAT about labor inspection and hygiene standards?
Numerous technical failures are also to be noted; several broken elevators, water leaks, not to mention the lack of soundproofing which will prevent you from sleeping. Concerning the restaurant, we were all inclusive and had the opportunity to thoroughly test their “dishes”. It's mediocre, efforts are however made in terms of the presentation of the dishes, but we have the feeling that the dishes are frozen and very salty.
I would like to point out that we are not difficult customers, so if my feedback can allow anyone to make an informed decision and avoid spoiling their vacation... Do not be fooled by the misleading advertising of websites. The hotel must or was to carry out renovation work for a while (at least that's what the hotel responds to dissatisfied comments), but in August 2023, no trace of this "renovation work".
The only positive point remains the view overlooking the bay and the free shuttles to San Miguel beach.
