Cheap, old but clean.

Great location in Trat, cheap rooms, very clean.
Worth a night's stay, wouldn't stay more than that.
But thats due to Trat being a quiet town.
You can even walk to and from the central bus station.
Nice staff, good restaurant.

My wife and son stayed here when I was in local hospital, they said it was an ok hotel, but maybe some insect control needed

Simple

The hotel look too old.
The location good it is close to the market and quite.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
The room so simple and simple.
The bathroom need to maintenance.
The price acceptable.
The wifi is okay.

Good, Center of town, decent prices.

This place is rather decent for the price. Okay it's fairly basic but they have huge air-con rooms with 3 double beds for 700 baht. Other normal size air con rooms for 500 baht and cheaper fan rooms. The wifi is a bit temperamental. The staff are friendly, and the location is great.

If George W. Bush & North Korea had a baby...

...they probably made it here. That's what my female travel companion commented when she saw the room. I think it wasn't that bad at all.
Ok: the building for the 250 BHT standard room (just fan, but en suite bath, no breakfast, soso Wifi) looks like a mix of garage and prison cell.
And yes: the charme and atmosphere of "Maison d'Hitler" (her name for it) are as cozy as Mordor on a rainy day.
And maybe: the fact that the owner broke out most buttons of the TV (one can turn it on and tune the volume down -that's it) might not be super inviting. But it's clean and works or a night. (More than one in those beds is probably quite bad for your back anyway.)
So I still give the place "of no livening souls" (guess who) some solid two stars.
