booked a suite very spacious and clean. house keeping does a very good job. The only draw back was the curtains. The living room was able to keep the curtains partially opened while the bedroom wasn't. Other than that, everything was perfect and especially thanking the concierge services for helping me to making bookings, arrangement of a cake with balloons decorations during my birthday stay. Appreciate every bit

Business trip to Changsha for 4 days, what an amazing service, one of the best St. Regis. Will definitely come back agai

Booked a regis suite for 4 days on a business trip, was upgraded to Caroline suite upon check in, beautiful corner suite! Very friendly staffs, always greet with a big smile whenever you are in the lobby area. Breakfast is surprisingly good! Not lots crazy selections but everything you need is there or just ask for it, they will try their best to help out. I want to point out few persons gave me warm welcome home experience here, Helen Li and Tiffany Yu from breakfast and Jamie Long from butler service department. I am checking out tomorrow, but can not wait and want to share my home staying experience with you!

Mars Made This Stay Truly Unforgettable — A One-Night Stay That Left a Lifetime Impression

I only spent one night at the St. Regis Changsha, but I will absolutely be coming back — and that is entirely thanks to one extraordinary person: Mars.
From the moment I arrived, Mars went so far above and beyond that he single-handedly elevated my stay from a hotel visit into a truly luxurious, deeply personal experience. He provided me with incredible recommendations for sightseeing and local spots, making sure I got to experience Changsha in a way most visitors never do. But his care didn't stop there.
When I wanted to order local tea, he didn't just point me in the right direction — he helped me order it and personally accompanied me to pick it up. And when he noticed I was coming down with a cold, he went out of his way to take me to the pharmacy and help me get the medication I needed. That level of genuine, thoughtful attention is something you simply cannot manufacture — it comes from someone who truly cares.
Before I left, Mars presented me with a beautiful St. Regis Changsha cardholder as a parting gift — a small but elegant gesture that perfectly captured the warmth and polish of everything he had offered throughout my stay. I still smile every time I see it.
His English was absolutely phenomenal, and as an international visitor, having someone like him as a liaison made every interaction seamless, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. He is exactly the kind of ambassador a world-class hotel needs — someone who makes guests feel not just welcomed, but truly seen and cared for.
It is people like Mars who make a stay not just luxurious, but unforgettable. This was, without question, one of the most memorable hotel stays I have ever had — and I cannot wait to return. St. Regis Changsha is lucky to have him.

Smoke Free Property is not really smoke free!

Avoid this hotel if you do not like to choke on smoke.
Despite listing as a smoke free property on Marriott website, managment turns a blind eye on smoking at St.Regis Bar and tells me it’s normal.
Making matters worse, I wrote two emails to Marriott customer service in August and September yet as of December still have not received satisfactory response.
I have stayed at Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt in Changsha and they both enforce smoking ban.
I don’t care about compensation but you should at least have the common decency to remove this false listing description.
