Poor service but in a nice part of the old town

Check in only allowed between 1 and 4 due to covid! Not easy to find and once you have checked in at the main hotel, it’s a five minute walk and even harder to find! Upon entering the property, we found it to be very cold and the radiators on the top floor only aired and need of bleeding. I rang reception only for them to try and fob me off but I was having none of that! They then sent a portable electric heater and extra duvets and the next day with a cleaner came as they couldn’t get an engineer. I showed her a list of jobs, including the bath that would hold water and left her and the handyman scratching their heads. upon our return, nothing had been done! Obviously we kept contacting the hotel and eventually a manager became involved and I asked for a full refund which was declined and so I asked for some money off, again declined.
