Great stay at Hotel Isabella while visiting Frankfurt!

In August, my wife and I visited relatives living in Rödelheim located in the outskirts of Frankfurt. They reserved a room for us at the Hotel Isabella. We got the largest room at the hotel and stayed for 3 nights. If you are a couple traveling with kids, ask for room number 18...you won’t be disappointed! In addition to extremely comfortable beds, the room offers a pull-out couch-bed for the kids or a third adult. We found the room and facility to be very clean and quiet. The hotel offers free WiFi, breakfast buffet and free private guest parking in a courtyard off of the main road running through Rödelheim. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists as well as for the business traveler visiting the Frankfurt area looking for a quiet, safe and comfortable place to spend the night. Rödelheim has excellent access to the local freeways serving the city. It is a quaint little town that offers everything one could need, such as a train station, bus service, numerous restaurants, parks and walking trails along the river canals, pharmacies, markets, gift shops and much more.
Next time we visit Frankfurt, we are sure to stay again at Hotel Isabella!

To endure for one night.

First the good:
The mattress was nice and firm, just how I like it, the bedding was clean. The room was quiet, so I slept wonderfully. There was a small fridge. The free WiFi worked perfectly.
The bad:
The door was so stuck that I had to force myself to get into the room. I had a basement room with a view of a rotten light shaft. The room itself wasn't very clean either: there were cleaning streaks all over the table, the trash can and the toilet paper holder. The shower curtain had a moldy edge at the bottom. The fridge was dirty too. The previous guest's empty bottles were in the wardrobe. The decor was generally dismal.

Good for a short stay

I spent one night there during my visit to Frankfurt. It is outside the city but you can reach there within 30-40 minutes by public transport. Surrounding doesn’t look appealing but the room was very nice. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I had some problem with communication in English at the reception desk but we managed somehow The Price was attractive so I was happy

It served the purpose of my trip to the Messe Expo

During the expo prices of hotels go through the roof, so I chose this one, which was the cheapest I could find. It’s far yet near, Ubers cost me on average 13€ to the MesseFair. The room was small, a single bed, nothing more nothing less. The bathroom had a teeny shower and teensy basin. Towel and mat quality was awful, but forgivable. Bed very hard and i hated their pillow. I also did not like the bathroom window…. As i stood outside one night i could see it was a “frosted” effect yet you could see shapes inside. Breakfast was decent. The area is quiet and i ordered UberEats every night, not
Much in the area. It did serve the purpose and the receptionist was so sweet., but next time I’d try and get closer to Messe Halls. I do think this hotel needs an overhaul, it could be a great gem of a place ,by getting rid of the 70s look with a more updated and current feel.

Various Names

It seemed that it has other names, which made finding it on TripAdvisor or the web difficult; perhaps it has changed hands frequently. It also only seems to cater for coach parties and business conferences. Our coach party were the only people eating the evening meal in the restaurant. There was no wine menu and only half-bottles of “red” or “white”. As the restaurant is on the nineteenth floor the view is excellent.
We found the receptionist / concierge excellent. The coffee available in the business lounge was also excellent.
There is a shopping mall behind hotel and this might be a better place to eat. Turn left from the front door and immediately left again down an alley.
