Perfect for visiting the center of Munich on foot, garage available.
Great facility to visit the center of Munich on foot. Restaurants in the surrounding streets mostly Arab/Turkish, but moving a little you will find typical things.
Quick check in, they speak very good English. Free maps of the city are available.
TV and hairdryer, great wifi.
Breakfast not tried.
Garage behind the closed and Covered structure, for a fee for those who want it.

Location: Good, the location is within walking distance a good 10 minutes from the HBF Munich but you have to cut corners with the neighborhood but that is not too bad.
Breakfast is not offered by the hotel, but next door there is a bakery that always has fresh stuff due to the high volume of guests, a minute walk.
The rooms at the hotel are clean and well decorated and the value for money is right.
There is a coffee machine and a drinks machine at the reception.
The hotel is owner-run and this is very friendly and helpful. His two staff at reception are also friendly.
Restaurants can be found everywhere in the immediate vicinity of the hotel even small shops. A Lidl and/or Rewe are a five-minute walk away.
In the city you walk 15-20 minutes (Marienplatz) which is easily done.
On our next stay in Munich we would definitely book a room here again as the price-performance is right and not overpriced like the other big hotels.
Tip: When booking, take a room out the back, the rooms facing the street can be too loud when sleeping with the window open. But this is weather dependent.
Conclusion: All top and happy again.

A TERRIBLE 2 NIGHT STAY
TERRIBLE 2 NIGHT STAY DETILS OF LETTER ENT, of out terrible experience, PLRAE DONT STAY HERE'

RE DIANNE & BLAIR PAYNE STAY 12 & 11th June.
STAYING AT YOUR HOTEL WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE:
1) arrived at hotel 2pm, given 2nd floor room, found lift starts 1st floor, regardless of their hotel listing having a lift. Disappointed 2 staff at reception did not offer assistance

2) Blood on Pillow. Upon moving a pillow on the reverse side there were lots of blood stains on both the pillow case and on the pillow. This can only mean the housekeeper never changed our linen from the previous nights guests. Gross!
3) told reception open to 11pm, at 6.30pm I took the pillow to reception, but nobody there. I waited 10 minutes to a fellow guest told me he knows of a hotel staff member next door and went and got him. Don't know who this person was but not interested in my complaint, I did get a fresh pillow.
4) 9.30pm got into bed to find all the bed springs broken on one side..

5) 8.30am met manager re the blood on the pillow. We believe were sleeping in previous guests sheets. He Initially tried to make us the guilty ones, but sorted this out, he said he would speak to house keeper.
6) With regards to the broken side of the bed, he didn't believe me, so took him to room and yes it broken. so offered another room.
7) New room, a) no bed lamps - just one centre roof light, TV wouldn't go, Mgr did come sort this out, and then later in pulling the drapes found two of the 4 drapes were broken and hanging off the rails.
8) Refund requested. We decided to meet with the manager regarding our two night stay and everything so bad, he agreed 100% with all our complaints. He didn't offer any recompense as I thought a manager should as gesture of goodwill. He said he had no authority and as it was 9pm he could not contact the owner until 8am next morning.
9) Manager assured us he would sort this out 8am, sadly we were leaving then, he promised us he would email no later than mid-day after speaking with the owner.
10) Its now 48 hours later - No email - No apology - No Refund. Not even a meal voucher!

Book Elsewhere!
Based on other reviews, I should have booked elsewhere but it was Oktoberfest and they had the type of room I was looking for available. I booked two nights in a family room deluxe consisting of one room with a double bed and bathroom, and a connecting room with two twin beds and no bathroom. The double room was for me and my husband and the room with two twins for our adult daughter and teen granddaughter. I did not want all four of us sleeping in the same room. When we arrived and checked in, we were given a room with two twin beds pushed together to make a double (which is normal and not an issue) but only one twin bed, all in the same room rather than connecting. Upon speaking with the reception staff, we were told they did not have the room type we booked available. The front desk staff were not able to do anything to correct their mistake, which they said was a system error, so the manager was called to discuss the problem with me. He was able to give us the room type I booked for the first night (connecting rooms) but said it was not available for the second night, that we would have to check out the next day and check back in the next day taking the room that was one bed short. I reluctantly agreed to this inconvenience as it was the first day of Oktoberfest and switching hotels would be a major hassle, plus the manager said they would place another twin bed in the room for us for the second night and provide me with a discount since they were not honoring my original booking. The next day we checked out early and went out and when we returned to check back in, the twin bed was not in the room as promised and we had to wait for 45 minutes for them to bring it in and set it up. Unfortunately, I failed to ask for an invoice when we checked out the next day and after returning home, I found I was charged the original amount for the booking I made for the room type I did not receive for both nights. Rather than the manager taking care of the discount before we checked out. I sent a message to the hotel indicating I would take action if I did not receive the discount that was promised to me. I received a call that day asking for my banking information so that a wire transfer could be made, which I provided. A few days later after I checked back on the transfer, I was told they tried to send money but it was sent back and they asked me for more information when I had already given them all the information the bank needed. I have serious doubts that they actually tried to send any money, and as of this writing, I am still waiting. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Although the front desk staff we dealt with were friendly enough and apologetic, the fact that my reservation was not honored and then the manager failed to follow through with the promised discount to help rectify their mistake, is unacceptable. I recommend looking elsewhere when planning a trip to Munich.

Would not return
Hotel near the center, which is easily accessible on foot in a few minutes, with availability to park in the inner courtyard of the structure. Friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately the room was not thoroughly cleaned. Absence of the bidet. Breakfast not available at the property.
