We had a fantastic experience here - they were able to accommodate a change in guest numbers last minute, and the room itself was absolutely gorgeous! We loved using the hot tub and outdoor area, totally worth the price for a few nights. The staff were really helpful and understanding too. A 10/10 experience, we'll defo be staying again!

Central location, Comfortable room

We arrived in Athens on May 19 at noon. Our wonderful taxi driver gave us a nice tour of Athens on the way to our hotel. He dropped us as close to the hotel as he could. The street is closed to vehicles. It is a shopping district. We found the sign for the Ethereal Hotel that shares an entrance with a Health Center and. Spa. We left our bags in a secure room with the reception gentleman. Wayne and I walked around the area. We came back at 3 pm and were led to our room on the 4th floor. The room is spacious with a kitchenette, a sitting area with a couch, a bed and separate bathroom. It was quiet and comfortable. I loved the shower. The hallway is shared with three other units. We heard a couple sharing an intimate experience loudly in the hallway, but nothing could be heard in our room. The window covered one short wall, with a view of the back of the building. The location was central to our planned tours and food.

An oasis near all the action

Despite its prime location in the busy center of town, Ethereal’s room was very quiet. Bed was super comfortable. Room had everything we needed. Self-check in was easy. And staff’s communication was impeccable. We’d definitely return.

A very poor customer service and uncomfortable stay.

We booked this hotel through booking.com. We booked a "superior Studio" . After my bad experience in Athens where the hotel put us next to a noisy lift, I wrote to the Ethereal Hotel and asked for us not to have a room next to the lift. They replied that they would do their best! The day before arrival, they told us our room category was always next to the lift! I said they should have told me that when I wrote to them and they wrote back that they are prepared to down grade us to a standard room at no extra cost! but that they never had a problem with lift noise. In fact our room had the lift shaft inside. Not even next to it. There was an knocking noise every few minutes. We kept going to the door thinking someone was knocking! There was also the noise of other guests in the corridor that sounded like they were inside the room! The room itself was ok and the location was good but zero customer service. A basic hotel. They should have told us about our room category when we specifically asked not to be near the lift .

Excellent property in a great location.

Spacious room, all modern and clean. Equipped with everything you need,
Staff very kind and helpful and left us wonderful gifts for New Years!
Great location and double windows so it’s quiet.
Would definitely recommend!
