Disappointing stay. Poor cleanliness and unhelpful staff

I stayed at this hotel for five nights on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner) and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The hotel was very basic and did not meet our expectations. Housekeeping was poor. During our five-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned. The bins were emptied, but the bed sheets were never changed. Towels were not replaced daily, and toiletries were not replenished. The room had a strong unpleasant smell when we arrived. We had to leave the door and windows open for a while before we could comfortably stay in the room. The curtains were visibly dirty, and overall the room did not feel clean.
On the day we arrived at around 4:30 pm, we asked if we could fill our water bottles from the dining area, but this was refused. Guests were also not allowed to refill water outside meal times, which was inconvenient, especially during the hot weather. We requested a room change because of the smell, but this was refused. We also found the staff to be unfriendly and not particularly helpful.

Fram Travel

Triple room facing the street, 3rd floor. We did not sleep; it felt like we were in the street due to the lack of soundproofing.

Nice

Hotel in an accessible location, very helpful staff. The rooms do not have a safe box, kettle, slippers, but I got a kettle on request. Maria from the reception allowed me to check in earlier. The food is very good, varied. If you do not have a street view, it can be very bad, actually it almost does not exist, without daylight. Objectively, the hotel deserves 3+. Because of the very helpful staff, my rating is 4

Dear guest, we appreciate your review, even though you gave a negative rating for your recent stay with us. If there was any issue with the mandatory Tourist Tax, which must be paid directly at the Reception Desk upon your arrival at the hotel, you were more than welcome to let our Reception Desk know about any questions you had regarding the payment. Our Reception Desk does not charge the Tourist Tax to any Drivers or anyone else due to our Greek Governmental Hotel Protocols. We do wish you all well on your future travels.
