Avoid
Absolutely shocking, The worst service I have ever had both here in Ireland and abroad. This is my first time ever to leave a totally negative review. We had 2 drinks out side in the beer garden in front of the Beaumount house and were having a nice time enjoying the sun on a Friday evening.
We then decided to go for something to eat in the Bar.
We took our seats and about 10 minutes later a waiter came to take our order. We ordered 1 starter and 3 mains and a round of drinks. 15 mins later my starter arrived which it must be said was good, waiting person said thry will get me cutlery. Never came. I had to get it myself from the bar. 20 minutes later mains arrived. We asked the server for some butter for the potatoes, still waiting. No server approached us thereafter. My 2 companions food was cold. We were waiting for someone to come to the table to see if everything was OK, but sadly no one came.
The fastest part of the service was getting the bill. The server said nothing when I complained.
We went to pay & told the supervisor of issues but all he said was sorry.
We paid the full amount as we ate it all, but the supervisors attitude was indifferent and ungenuine. (he must be used to getting complaints)
As a person who has vast experience in working in hospitality, I will not return to this establishment and cannot recommend.

Don't go here!
Very rude owner or waiter who acts as if he owned the place. Insulted customers and made some racial remarks.

Ugh. Avoid
Double bed only, no option for twin
No late check out
Mould in bathroom
This is not a hotel. Its a pub with a staircase leading to some rooms.
Picked it for proximity to Beaumont hospital. Gave up after one day and booked a hotel that was more distant, and just took a cab

Awful manager
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Beaumont House. My partner and I met a friend at 7:00 PM to discuss event preparations and ordered two coffees. Instead of the usual courteous service, we were immediately asked to pay—without even receiving a receipt. We settled in for what we expected to be a relaxed conversation, only to have our evening ruined.
About 90 minutes into our meeting, an elderly man—not even in a staff uniform—abruptly approached our table. Without any introduction or explanation, he snatched our coffee cups and declared, in a rude and dismissive tone, that “this is not an office” and that we were wasting space because we weren’t purchasing anything. When I inquired about his identity, he curtly replied that I didn’t need to know who he was as I'm not a Garda, and insisted that we leave immediately.
To make matters worse, none of the actual staff intervened; they seemed intimidated by him, leaving us feeling humiliated and like criminals in front of the few other customers present—some of whom even laughed at our misfortune.
No one should ever be treated with such disrespect. I left Beaumont House feeling deeply insulted and embarrassed by the unprofessional and hostile behavior we experienced. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who values courteous, customer-focused service.
