Excellent access for airport users

The 3rd floor of Mielparque Hiroshima is directly connected to the bus stop on the 3rd floor of the Hiroshima Bus Terminal, making it extremely accessible to airport users. The Mielparque building is old, but it has been renovated in various ways and it was not inconvenient. I used a double room along the national highway for single use, and I was able to sleep slowly without noise. Breakfast is a buffet at Japanese dining restaurant Astral on the second floor. There are many dishes unique to Hiroshima, and it is a happy breakfast for travelers. My favorite dishes are ochazuke with sashimi and conger rice and dandanmen without soup. If you are staying here, we recommend the plan with breakfast.

Old and smelly

My room smelled like it used to be a smoker room. I could not get rid of it by opening the window. Those where very thin as well. You can hear all the traffic outside. The bathroom is very small. I am an average sized european woman and it was uncomfortably small for me. The blanket was some old slippery fabric with stains on it. You get a sheet underneath but it quickly slips away when you move in your sleep. The lack of security is amusing. I have never had a room card with the number and hotel name on it. Also you don't need a room card to access all of the floors. There is no nightlight near the bed. The only light is the big one.
Overall the hotel ist just very old and used. The location is really the only thing this hotel has going for it.

Nice stay. Staff was really cool. Breakfast was also good. They provide Japanese food for breakfast. Room was neat and clean.

Lovely comfort hotel

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tour of Japan. It is a very comfortable hotel, the rooms are of good quality and the beds are very comfortable. We were also provided with a pair of pyjamas by the hotel, as seems the norm in most of the hotels we stayed in. It is very near the Peace Park, within a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the included Japanese style breakfast was of a good standard. All in all, a very peasant stay.

Sauna Rooms

We ended up staying at this hotel for 2 nights due to the location in relation to the sites. We checked in and were a bit surprised at the accommodations but for the price, it was on par. However when we tried to use the air conditioning due to the room being excessively hot it would not work. Upon calling the front desk we were informed that we should open our window as they do not allow A/C during this time of the year. This would typically be okay if the hotel were located on a quiet street, however it is not. The street it is located on is not quiet. Overall, this was not worth the money. I would not stay here again.
