Super appartement
Magnifique emplacement et appartement surplombant la mer. Quelle tranquillité !
L’appartement est très confortable et grand avec deux chambres.
Il faut prévoir de descendre ( et monter..) 130 marches pour accéder à l’appartement qui est en contre bas de la route.
Vraiment sympa

Definitely not a recommendation.
Definitely really no recommendation. Booking and payment 3 months in advance, cancellation due to "overbooking" 20 hours before arrival. No fun in high season when no more accommodation can be found.

Nice location but messy surrounding
I have stayed there in May with a colleague during a business trip to our branch office for one week of work.
As we had some problems with the plane we arrived later than expected at the apartment but always had a good communication with the host Michael in advance so we could inform him.
Driving to the apartment is quite easy but be aware that you don't see it from the street. There is just a small sign with the house number and tiny parking bay for two cars.
Michael, a friendly and communicative guy, already waited for us to show us the apartment and give us some basic information.
To reach the apartment you have to walk down 93 steps. If you are handicapped, please consider this. Also not that easy with a suitcase with 23 Kg.
Most of the stairs are kind of new, but the last few steps are quite old, rusty and don't feel necessarily safe. Alongside the stairs you can see the leftover of the old stairs, old wooden planks, some scrap metal etc.
That continues when you are down and on the "apartment level". Many things that simply just could be scrapped and thrown away. That would make the outside area much more comfortable.
If you ignore that you have an amazing view over the fjord. Probably the most impressive view I've ever had from a hotel/apartment.
The key is located in a small lock box besides the door.
The house/apartment itself is really nice and clean. Absolutely nothing "big" to complain in general. But again it is the little things that need improvement.
For instance the kitchen and what should be there. Too less pots, no pot lids only a minimum of kitchen tools etc.
The tap water in the kitchen and the bath room unfortunately is a bit salty. Michael told us that right away and provided two big canisters of water to cook, make coffee etc. According to him they are working on that, obviously it is a problem with the pump and its placement.
On the ground floor you have the already mentioned bath room and the combined kitchen/living room. A bit "divided" by the spiral staircase in the middle of the room.
The living room itself is big enough with a comfortable couch, a TV and like wall-large windows to enjoy the view.
On the first floor you have two bed rooms and a small room (with the staircase) in between.
The staircase was a bit shaky but felt safe enough to be used. But it is really narrow. I actually had to put my big suitcase above my head to get up with my colleague securing the suitcase from above. Might sound funny but felt quite unsafe.
The two bed rooms have a large bed each. The smaller one has a giant roof sloping which makes it impossible to stand upright. Besides that it is small in general, only slightly bigger than the bed. So with the roof sloping and the bed there is no space left for a closet etc. But it has an amazing view to the fjord.
Be aware: When you leave the smaller bed room you are DIRECTLY at the staircase with no railing to that side. Only ~50 cm from the door. Absolutely not suitable for smaller kids or if you happen to be a sleepwalker. No joke. This is dangerous and should be secured in some way.
The other bed room is bigger and better equipped but the view isn't that good compared to the other room. But at least it has a chest of drawers.
Internet is available though it is not really fast. It was ok for some surfing and WhatsApp messages, but WhatsApp video calls had a bad quality.
So, how do I rate that apartment.
The location itself with its fantastic view and the friendliness of the host Michael deserve 5 stars.
But there are too many things that need improvement. From the outside with all the scrap metal and other things that could be thrown away to the salty water, the dangerous spiral staircase and the kitchen that needs improvement - not mentioning some other minor things.
Originally I tended to give it only 3 stars (but much towards 4). But as this is now the first review on Trip Advisor in general for that location, Michael is a really nice guy and I'm sure he's open for constructive criticism and will improve the place in the time to come I'll give it a 4 for now.
But be aware: This 4 is only with a sympathy bonus. If you are bugged by such things I've mentioned please rate it as a 3 - at least for the moment.

Schitterende locatie aan Fjord
Een geweldig uitzicht!
Het huisje is beneden heel comfortabel, keuken en badkamer van alle gemakken voorzien!
Het terras is geweldig: ruim, tuinsets aanwezig, heerlijk uitzicht.
Boven is het erg klein, mini overloop en een slaapkamer met 2 persoonsbed waar je moet bukken en klimmen om je bed in te komen (maar weer met goddelijk uitzicht op het Fjord. De andere slaapkamer heeft een stapelbed met dunne matrassen.
Om bij het huis te komen moet je goed ter been zijn want het zijn heel veel treden naar beneden.
De auto kan boven langs de weg geparkeerd staan.
