Fine for a quick stop
We stayed here for one night before flying out. Conveniently located just a short walk to the old town or a bus ride to get closer.
The room was pretty small although they use the space incredibly well. We had a quick check in and the front desk staff was very helpful. We had something that need to be put in the freezer and fridge and they happily accommodated that.
The main opportunity is the restaurant. We didn’t have breakfast included so we paid at check in to have it covered. There was a decent selection of items. The scrambled eggs though were cold and dried up. The small sausages were either cold or over cooked. Not appealing at all.
The coffee maker had options, the pastries were ok although the bread wasn’t very fresh. And the wait staff was more worried about checking you in and ensuring you paid than doing anything else.
Another event happened while we were working the day before at the restaurant a staff member came screaming at a guest for not wearing a shirt and for taking a hotel towel to the beach. I get the hotel has rules but being screamed by upper management in front of other guests like you are on some high school trip is not ok.
All in all, a good spot to crash. Just don’t expect too much. There is room for improvement.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money, clean hotel and kind staff who speak Italian. It is about a 15-minute walk from the center and 20 minutes from La Malagueta beach.

A lot of adaptability and few demands.
When I booked the place, I did not see the single star rating, but I chose it for its proximity to both the airport and the city center. The location indeed plays a fundamental role. 900 meters away is the Maria Zambrano station, where trains to and from the city pass every 20 minutes. Surrounding the property, there are several bus stops to comfortably reach the heart of Malaga, although it can also be easily reached on foot since it is about 1 km away. The hotel has a reception open 24 hours a day. The lobby area is small, with two sofas, a desk for computer use, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. The staff at the reception are not very outgoing (except for Paula, who always showed smiles and willingness to help). The rooms are tiny. Our double room measured about 20 square meters. As soon as you enter, next to the door is the sink, while a single door is used for both the shower and the toilet. Privacy in this case is nonexistent. The shower is, however, comfortable. There are no wardrobes, but there is a coat rack with a shelf to place things and a small shelf under the TV for additional storage. The beds are small, so if you are taller than 1.80 m, you will have difficulty fitting in. On the plus side, the hotel is very clean, with the rooms cleaned every day. Our room on the second floor overlooked the street, but we did not hear the noise of cars. Inside, unfortunately, you can hear (a lack of manners in my opinion) the voices of people. The drainage pipes are also "noisy." You can hear when the wastewater from the upper floors travels down. The fridge is missing in the room, but given the size, I believe it is normal. The breakfast area is nice, but the exposed pipes (also noisy here) need to be covered. The menu is quite varied and abundant overall. We stayed for 4 nights (even the girl at the reception was amazed), but I did not mind it. It is very popular, especially among business people for conferences and work-related reasons.

Good central hotel close to both the beach and historical centre, max 10 min walk.
Also train statin was only 1-2 min walk away.
